This Weeks Advice:
Have You Tried Meditation?
Busy life? No time to relax? Stress has been breathing down your neck for some time now? Well have you heard of meditation?!Meditation helps you to channel and redirect your thoughts. Our brains are in a constant flux of thoughts, on average we have around 6000 thoughts crossing our mind every day. That is a lot to deal with even on a good day. Sometimes we all need to switch off and reset that mental state of mind. This is where meditation comes in handy.
Finding 10-30min a day to gather your thoughts and let the brain switch off should be a part of your daily practise. It is good for your mind, body and soul. It will improve your sleep quality, reduce your stress and anxiety levels, improve your focus, elevate your mood and help with much more.
But I just don't have time for it!!
Believe me I know that it's not that easy to find time, as leading a busy life style I rarely find time to do it myself. But it is about building a good habit. Same as going to the gym, eating well or getting enough sleep, meditation is a habit to build.
The best advice I can give you is to try and make it as easy as possible. Start slow with 5-10 minutes once or twice a day and gradually build it from there. Try using guided meditation videos, classes or apps like
Headspace and Calm. Or even go on a meditation retreat for a weekend, who doesn't like a weekend away??Don't wait until tomorrow start today, your future self will thank you for it!

Fitness Tip of the Week:
Do Your Stretches!
Do you even stretch bro?!Why stretching is important you ask? Well firstly if you don't stretch you will be all tight and probably will pull a muscle sooner rather than later. As well as that, stretching can help increase your flexibility, which is an important factor of fitness, but it can also improve your posture, reduce stress and body aches, and more. Stretching will help with your:1) Flexibility
2) Range of motion
3) Blood flow to muscles
4) Posture
5) Back pain
6) Stress
7) General well being
Stretching should be a part of a daily routine of everyone who exercises or doesn't. Basically  everyone needs stretching! Try spending 5-10minutes after your workout or after a long day doing some basic stretches to help restore muscles to their normal length. You will feel better, less tight and probably a bit happier! Follow a link to a 5minute full body stretching video MadFit.
So go on do your stretches an be cool and flexible!

Supplement of the Week:
Coffee!
Coffee! Coffee! Coffee! We love coffee, it's just amazing. My morning would not be a morning without a cup of coffee. But did you know that besides being absolutely amazing, coffee is actually quite good for you?! Coffee can:
1) Improve energy levels and reaction time.
2) Help you burn fat.
3) Improve physical performance
4) Can fight Depression
The list just keep going on! It is really easy to make and is available to us pretty much all the time. So why not to go and enjoy a cup and get all those health benefits from it.
Remember though, everything is good in moderation. Healthy adults should not have more than 6 cups of coffee a day (around 400mg of caffeine). Try not to have coffee too late at night either or you will struggle to have good nights rest. Some of us have higher tolerance, some of us don't. So keep an eye on how it makes you feel. Common signs of too much caffeine are:
1) Jitters
2) Feeling anxious
3) Shaky hands
4) Cold sweat
So don't overdo it! In conclusion- coffee is great, we like coffee. Too much coffee is not that great, so don't have too much.
